Black Women in Science continues the work of its founder and CEO, Ndoni Mcunu (30 November 1988 - 16 April 2022).
Ndoni’s vision was to mould a unique version of modern female scientists who, while relevant to the needs of today’s world, mark their presence with generational impact.
BWIS is committed to Ndoni’s vision and will continue to deliver programmes which integrate academic, professional, and social-wellbeing for well-rounded Black female scientists.
Since its inception, more than 200 fellows have graduated from BWIS programmes. We invite you to contribute to advancing the growing network of BWIS fellows with a donation of your choice. Let’s build the next generation’s female leader by ensuring that she is always IN HER ELEMENT!
